Wan’s research focuses on crime, deviance, and victimization, migration, and the media and policy discourses surrounding them. Her work aims to understand individuals’ experiences amid digital and technological transformation, and to promote a more inclusive social environment and policy discourses that are effective, comprehensible, and publicly resonant.
